  • Herzegovina is a geographical region located in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together with the region of Bosnia, it forms the geographical area of the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  • Mostar is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located on the banks of the Neretva River and is the cultural and economic center of Herzegovina, as well as the largest city in Herzegovina. Mostar is the administrative seat of Herzegovina-Neretva County and the university, cultural, economic, and political center of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Neretva is bridged by the Old Bridge, which together with the old town has been on the list of UNESCO’s protected cultural heritage since 2005.
  • Konjic is a town in the far north of mountainous Herzegovina, in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the valley on both sides of the Neretva River and around the mouth of the Neretva’s tributary Trešanica. It is part of the Herzegovina-Neretva County/Canton.
  • Jablanica is a municipality in northern Herzegovina, in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Administratively, it belongs to the Herzegovina-Neretva County.
  • Sandwiched between the two highest, but gentle mountains, Čvrsnica and Prenja, with their valley they open a rocky canyon more than 30 kilometers long. The city itself is located on several terraces at an altitude of 202 meters, through which the river Neretva flows.
  • Počitelj is a populated place in the town of Čapljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Počitelj is a historical settlement of oriental-Mediterranean character located in the Neretva River valley and one of the most beautiful cultural-historical entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  • Blagaj is a populated place located 12.5 km southeast of the city of Mostar, in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It stands on the edge of the Bišća plain and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which differs from other similar buildings in its urban layout. Blagaj most likely got its name because of its mild climate. It is located at the source of the Buna River and the old tekija. The Tekija in Blagaj was built for dervishes around 1520. Blagaj is famous for its elements of Ottoman architecture.
